FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Orders + Shipping

How long will it take to receive my order?

Most pieces are made to order. Please allow one to two weeks for production before shipping. During this time, we will be meticulously handcrafting your piece. Once shipped, delivery times depend on your location.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. Parsody ships worldwide. Customs fees and import taxes are the responsibility of the buyer.

How can I track my order?

You will receive a tracking number as soon as your order is on its way.

Materials + Process

What materials do you use?

We use mostly recycled materials in the development stage. During final production we use 100% recycled fine metals, and other industry byproducts. All materials are of the highest quality to ensure they will live with you for as long as possible.

How are the pieces made?

Parsody pieces are prototyped in our Brooklyn, NY and Oakland, CA studios. We work primarily with sterling silver, bronze and aluminum using traditional metal-smithing techniques, paired with experimental processing. Most of our wearable objects are designed through an additive process, allowing for a more organic birth than can be achieved through wax carving. The pieces are made from scratch. Because of this hands on process, no two pieces are identical.

Is every piece unique?

No two Parsody objects are identical. All have slight, minute differences in texture, finish, and shape. These objects are born of nature: cousin to dirt, cousin to the snowflake

Philosophy

Why do some pieces look aged or unfinished?

Decay is necessary. We design around imperfection and erosion in order to create objects that will age with you. Our pieces are supposed to travel the world by your side. They are meant to accompany you through hell and to show its traces when you emerge on the other side.

how do i take care of my jewelry?

Wear it with authority. Let it age and tarnish. Allow it to collect debris. Embrace these imperfections. If your piece is ever structurally damaged we will work with you to restore it.
