Parsody is a sculpture and design studio developing interactive objects, as a study of global folk art, sonic language, foundational American heritage, and natural decay. Each object is a fragment of song and story, meant to weather with you. From our studios in Brooklyn, NY and Oakland, CA, we utilize a handmade and hands-on process, shaping unbridled forms from metals, which are weathered and adorned with nature born materials. We want to provide objects that can bridge between seen and unseen realities - to be found in your home, workspace, or on your body. These pieces don’t expose themselves, they invite you to dig under the ground and unearth.
