Parsody is a design studio creating unapologetic, functional objects. The project examines the relationship between time structures and ethnogenesis. The resulting fruits are objects that combine modern fabrication technology with traditional craft techniques, appearing both ancient and future-born. Parsody references a musical lineage in which enslaved ancestors in the United States transformed discarded bio-materials into instruments, turning loss and subjugation into cultural rebirth through ingenuity. Organic shapes are reimagined into objects that carry multiple histories.
