Rooted Band Ring. This ring is made of 100% recycled 925 Sterling Silver. The edges of a flat plate are overheated until they melt away, forming an organic, fragmented surface. The plate is shaped into a band, and its ends are joined with fractured pieces that interlock like the roots of a tree. The ring is finished through tumbling and hand-polishing to a high gloss. Subtle variations in edge texture and joinery are inherent to the process, making every ring unique.
